And maybe you’re not getting the results you’re looking for? You know you understand the power of having an email list. It is still the single biggest asset you can have in your online business. But for some reason, people aren’t opting in, or you’re not growing the subscribers list at the speed at which you want. I see a lot of students all the time that get big Facebook followings, big Instagram followers, but they don’t have an email list and don’t know how to get subscribers, and I’m telling you right now an email list is the single most important thing for you to have in your business. And, today, I wanna share with you a few tips that’ll help you take your online marketing efforts and turn them into subscribers on your list.

The first thing I wanna tell you on how to get subscribers is that you really have to have what I refer to as a market to message match. Meaning the information that you’re putting out there, the places you’re putting your content, the places you’re getting your giveaway, capture page offer in front of people, you know, the message that you have both in your copywriting upfront and just your general message in your marketing, right, what it is you stand for, what you bring to the marketplace, what your brand represents, that has to be a really strong match to the people that this information is getting in front of.

You know, a lot of times people are super general, or super vague, or kinda changing every which way as to what they’re talking about that day or what they represent. And I gotta tell you, you know, getting the right message in front of the right group of people is single-handedly the most important thing that you can do if you want that group of people to respond and ultimately subscribe.

Now, even when you get in front of that market with the right message, sometimes it’s hard to stand out. it can be a really noisy marketplace, and let’s face it, there is a lot of competition out there. The best way to stand out from the crowd is to specialize and know how to get subscribers, okay? Specialize in something. You know, in our space that’s usually marketing or marketing strategy of some sort, it might be cold market prospecting or recruiting, right? It might be mindset, you know, related breakthrough stuff, but here’s what you gotta know. You have to know that people have to know they’re in the right place, that they’ve come to the right person to get the information they’re looking for, that they’ve come to the authority, right? One of the reasons they see you as the authority is because you’re specialized. I see a lot of people out there where they don’t have a specialization. They’re trying to be all things to all people, and that’s just really not how to get subscribers.

I’ve heard they say the riches are in the niches, right? When you niche down with your specialization, when you’re providing a certain set of information that meets the exact needs of a certain crowd, then they’re going to be so much more likely to subscriber in your email list. So ask yourself right now, “What do I specialize in?” If that question makes you a little nervous, I get it.

Let me explain something to you that might set you at ease a little bit, and that is it doesn’t take much to specialize in something. All you need to do is spend even, you know, a few weeks becoming proficient at something, and you will immediately be ahead of 95% of the marketplace and also know how to get subscribers. Your goal is to be one step ahead of your prospect. You don’t need to teach, you know, the utmost authority on the subject. You’re teaching the marketplace, and all you need to make sure is that they know less than you.

Once you’ve got that specialization, all you have to do to build authority in the marketplace is teach. Bring value to the marketplace in the form of content, in the form of your giveaway, okay? When you start getting all these pieces in place, I’m telling you people, not just for your giveaway but just to hear what you have to say, are going to want to be on your subscribers list. So really go down this list of things I talked about today. Evaluate where you stand and where you can improve to start getting to know more about how to get subscribers.
